Upcoming RAF Fairford C-130 Operation

Good Afternoon all,

Next week an operation is due to start at RAF Fairford, nothing special, rumoured to just be some prop aircraft.

Here is the NOTAM:

Aircraft should arrive the 14th May after 7:00am and should depart 23rd May before 19:00.

Sorry, only just seen this. Ive heard rumours from various sources that it will be US c130's. Have heard conflicting reports on how many though, so couldnt say for sure.

Afraid not, they've had their Rediness Inspection.

As Graham has said, it'll be USAF C-130's.

i am just hoping they fly if i remember last year they had to B1s on the ground for a week that did not fly i think that was operation readiness i may be wrong

I assume only a few and should be flying daytime missions.

They haven't actually posted a NOTAM for the runway to be open next week yet.... which is odd.
