Hi
I am going up to lossie tomorrow so i thought i would clean my sensors I used a Dust Aid pad on one of them and it looks like its pulled some of the coating off the sensor it left a gold patch on the pad and a big like finger print on the sensor anyone else had this problem with them, look like thats the end of that camera:oldcry:

There's a piece of glass in front of the sensor called the AA filter but it sounds like it will still have to go for repair.

That sucks John. Have you tried taking a pic with it to see how much damage there is? Thankfully  it's your backup - yes???
