Kevster Apologies. That would be my fault mixing up the two stations. Can anyone provide the times for Scampton and Kirton? TJ

Hope you get chance to get over, would love to see the inevitable shots. :) The weather's looking good (I only live a few miles away). If you do come and fancy a chat, I'm in a green RAV4.

Paul Hi Paul, I took a trip up but the cloud cover/mist had rolled in. I turned back just short of the base. It was forecast so I wonder if the Reds cancelled their display? TJ

I was there on Monday and they had inserted a new (To me ) head to head , two craft from Left to Right along the crowd line, with a break, after the pass , where one plane barrels up high and one rolls and stays low. I was at Scampton on the 17th March and watched them rehearsing this bit of the routine for about an hour and a half!! I got it on video (Not very well as it was my first try out with the new video camera) and it's on my Flikr site along with a load of other stuff. (Scroll through the pages ) The first bit of videa is about the best !! http://www.flickr.com/photos/beefsteak44/page4/

You made the right decision, after a clear start it quickly changed and didn't get any better. We headed off to Scampton, hoping for a display there. Although the weather gradually improved, it wasn't enough. All 10 taxied out just after 1.30pm, did a few circuits for c.20 minutes then departed for Linton-on-Ouse. Heard them later on the scanner performing there. - So frustrating! :bounce:

Such is life! TJ
