6/8/09 - Tornado GR.4 (LOSSIE 72)
7/8/09 - 2 x Tornado GR.4 (GIBSON)
8/8/09 - Not seen but believe it was a Tornado GR.4
9/8/09 - NO SHOW SUNDAY

Overflew where i work on outskirts of Edinburgh just before 9pm...heard but not seen..

Stella 1+2 on flypast duty tonight,2 aircraft but only Stella 1 for the flypast.

Think he "beat up" Bell Rock Lighthouse on his way down?

I thought they were all automated now?

(That seemed to be the gist of what I heard BUT not 100%.)

Guys this is great! I live just west of Edinburgh castle and love the fly past each night! Have been trying to "guess the aircraft" and worked out the Tornado a couple of nights ago - didn't have a clue there was an aircraft called a "Stella" though - now I do, i affectionately call it a "Grolsch".

Already looking forward to tonights (Friday) fly past. Heard a rumour that the red arrows may make an appearance at some point in the festival....anyone confirm?

Hi, Nothing on thier website.
They are displaying on the 16th at galloway country fair and nothing planned for 17/18th.
So you never know but i think its more of a rumour.

Edinburgh Paul, I take it you'r listening in on ATC? You don't happen to know what the 2 ship callsign was on Monday? Just I was at the Tattoo but didn't have the Radio with me for obvious reasons. With regard to the Saturday Performance I think it's 7.30pm.
