Quiet tonight, the RAF must be busy or another reason due serviceability etc, nothing flew over and haven't heard anything.

no it's not weather problem, it's beautiful clear sky over edinburgh now, and Leuchars has pretty the same
so it must be something else

Now I don't know for certain if it's true but I have been informed that there was not a Tattoo Last Night. Anyone know the truth.

The dates are 7-29 August inclusive(no shows on Sundays),so there should have been one last night ???

Wasn't at the castle, but heard the piper, music, the sound effects and saw the fireworks at the start and heard them at 10.35 so I'm assuming it was on last night.

Yep they've just recently flown over about 10 mins ago - 2 Tornado F.3s SCIMITAR. I thought one of them had a black tail.

I've been climbing Corstorphine Hill, you get a great view from there. Saw the VC-10, GR.4 Formation this week from there. As well as that I saw the Red Arrows the last time the Tattoo had Flypasts and a Nimrod over that useless Parliament one time Her Maj visited.

They'll be GR4s - nowt but tumbleweeds up here in Fife. F3s are doing Friday & Saturday this week.
