Someone help me please. My work laptop has successully found the Linksys Cisco router/modem, but cannot connect to the internet - username and password are connect, firewall is down....help!

try this:

from start->run type "cmd" and click ok

type "ipconfig /renew" press enter

You'll need admin rights to do this.

I used to get this problem all the time with a linksys WAG54G. In the end I took it back and now use a Belkin with no problems.
