Just been watching some trailers on Youtube for some films I've not seen for a very long time. Personally, I love the Carry On series, they symbolise that very British trait of being able to laugh at yourselves when things go horribly wrong.
I'd have to say I prefer the early black and whites, Carry on Sergeant, Carry on Constable etc. Just watching them takes you right back in time to the late 50's early 60's when things looked so different. The less said about the 'latest' few the better really. Here's a couple of clips I've just been watching -
Carry On Sergeant
Carry On Regardless
Carry On Constable
This imho is classic comedy and whilst the jokes got stale over time (the old man dressed as woman gag) these early ones were the first time anything like this had been done.
I'm sure there are plenty on you out there who are big fans, so come on, which ones are your favourites?
Any of you youngsters out there who've not seen any before, give them a try, a lot funnier than a lot of the tosh that's on telly nowadays!

Carry on at your Convenience and Carry on Cabby were always my favourites. Sheer classics.

Oh god you could not pick a harder question. I just love this type of cheesy humour. Would have to say Carry on screaming and Carry on Cleo. Especially the line, Infamy! Infamy! They've all got it in for me!

Brilliant films, i would have to say my top 3 would be Carry on Doctor, Carry on Camping and Carry on up the Khyber Pass. Especially the scene in the latter where they are all having dinner and showing the British stiff upper lip, when they are being attacked!!.
