Hello Everyone, Please can someone give me some advice i am using the Sony DSC-F828 Cybershot 8.0 Pixels but my question is..... i bought a Opteka Digital Super Telephoto 2.0X AF precision optics lens and i just dont know what to do with it and if it will help with Airshow pics etc if anyone can advise i would be very grateful TIA PureVixen

with the x2 converter it will make your camera go from 28 - 200 mm to 56 - 400 mm which is great for airshows, but with my experience with converters it might mean you will have to manually focus, but again wtih airshows you should be fine with it on infinity. i do nto know the sony camera equipment well but hopefully this is of help.

With a 2x converter you will be letting in less light than you would with out the converter. So make sure your let in as much light as possible.

Does the Cybershot have a detachable lens?, if not then the Opteka screws onto the front of the Cybershot lens and is cheap glass so may degrade the image. I tried an Opteka telephoto lens on my Konica Z300 and it was rubbish, Lots of distortion around the edges. Moved on to a DSLR. Brian
