Yes, only ground tests carried out. Notice on the official site it has been declared serviceable and subject to normal caveats will fly at Blackpool and Whitehaven on Sunday. Nothing about Lyneham.

Still nothing "official" on the Vulcan site, however Liam has confirmed the Vulcan is due at Lyneham around 12.25. This ties up with what I have been told of a 12.15 departure from Brize.
So todays Movement:
12,15 - depart Brize, straight to Lyneham for display, then to land at Lyneham and added to the static lineup.
I will be over at Lyneham, so wont be able to update this thread if I hear anything different (cancellation/delay etc) Enjoy!

I don't intend to upset anyone with this post, it's just been bugging me for a while regarding the Vulcan and the Red Arrows at Dawlish. Firstly well done to the Dawlish team, looks a great day lined up. However, my gripe is with TVOC, there was a huge amount of enthusiasts paid for her, so, why, so far has the only formation been at a private day for RAF peeps and now, a fly past with the Red Arrows at a relatively small, not that easy to get to air show? I feel like TVOC are sticking 2 fingers upto the majority of it supporters, why not do this at RIAT or any of the bigger shows when more peeps can enjoy her? Maybe I have got this wrong, I would be intrested to hear your views, of course I understand the vast amount of planning these things take but I really don't think the TVOC actually give a stuff about the people the keep her going!
