Using this callsign, or something like it? Cant hear it very well though. Any ideas?

Ok just had a look at the Milscanners database, and I guess it would be Taco 38 - an F-15C. Which would probably mean inbound Lakenheath.

Just had Typhoon 3 do an approach to LN.....guess that was it?

it was typhoon 33 must be an emerican exchange day or something as it was doing approaches at marham as well i had him loud and clear on the scanner it was the t1 2 seater version then they went to lakenheath for an approach there hope this helps !!

Ah well that would tie up - my brother saw a Typhoon OTT about that time. Anyone any idea on the serial?

From Bollos photo over in Modern Mil, the Tiffie had tailcode AY, which should make it ZJ815, a T.3.
