hi everyone i have always been lead to belive that it was the end of police scanning a couple of years ago when they bought in the new tetra system however i have read on numerous websites that it is still possible to listen!!
if anyone is in the know would you please send me a pm on what bands to scan and any tips to try and pick them up
i live in north west london

I've heard that certain types of DAB radios with manual tuning can pick up secure frequencies afterall they still use MHz banding to broadcast

And being in the Job you definitely can't tune into Airwave as it's encrypted and runs in the 830 mhz bands.

and listening to air band radios is legal think not its illegal to act on what you hear so might be worth checking up on that

The transmissions are encrypted. The issue of whether or not it is legal does not arise.
