I am thinking of visiting woodvale and wondered which is the best way of getting there from blackpool.My other question is the airfield active at weekends if not which is the best day to go for movements,any advice is welcome.

At the moment Woodvale is open at the weekends & closed monday & tuesday. You'd be best coming down this weekend if you can with the families day on & the BBMF & Jet Provost being there.
