GR4 activity??

Hi. I am hoping to visit the east country possibly June or July and had hoped to spend a day at Marham. But I was wondering whether on a normal day you see much GR4 activity?

The reason I ask is that I never see any photos from Marham in the 'recent photos' section and never read much in the logs. I appreciate it's not Lakenheath or Coningsby, but had expected to see occassional photos from there (as per Cottesmore).

Anyway, any info from you Marham locals would be appreciated.

Hi Mark,

Marham is my local, I havent been there for a while but when i am at work i have the scanner on and this week it has bee fairly busy all day, when i arrived home last night a Tornado was doing circuits over my house for about 10 mins i guess it was an air test unless he was just having a look at kings lynn lol.. I know XIII Sqn are in a hot place and 31 are away aswell, 2Sqn are on leave for another week i think but 9Sqn are doing a bit Smile

I heard Fang, Batman, and Marham callsigns yesterday. There was also some Tornado's about yesterday evening too.

PM me nearer the time and i will let you know whats happening. I will be going there maybe tommorow afternoon for a bit if not a few times after work next week.

I could see the Aircraft departing from Marham from my window at College!! I had the scanner on and it weas non stop, thats typical!! I will be at Marham one afternoon next week then me and Figgy may be off to Cott the week after Smile
