Please see the Quid 89 thread in OTT/Overhead.
Quid 89s receiver, an E-8C is diverting to Fairford.
Quid 89 cant get airborne to refuel it out near Spain so its diverting to Fairford via Lands End.

Apparently the crew have already been talking to the tower about the wind problems, its only a planned gas and go. If its going to depart, would suggest it will be soon.

cheers, andy Depends on it's routing, however will go from tower 124.800 > Brize Approach 127.250 or 297.800.
He came in Cardiff > Bristol > Brize > Fairford. Not sure which way hes going outbound.

Have a feeling it will carry on with its original routing via Omoko. Which means Lands End > Gapli > Lasno > Omoko > 49N25W > 49N30W to Robins AFB, Georgia. Soon find out! If this is the case it will either route the same way it came in (up the Bristol channel) or via Yeovilton and TR-1
