Just a word of warning, if you are arranging to meet other forum members for the first time at airfields, remote locations, Museums etc, ensure that the person(s) you are arranging to meet are who they say they are.

If you are under 16 years of age, please be cautious, and seriously consider taking an Adult
along with you.

really good points Dunk. i do mentoring for young engineers and have been trained in this area.

so to go a bit further.

if you are under 16 and get any PM's or invites to anything at all or you have any concerns at all about approaches from anyone then you must tell someone here imediately. First go to a moderator and Lee. if no joy then anyone else who you recognise and trust

Do not be afraid to ask for help or advice no matter what anyone tells you.

i promise no one here will fail to help if needed and no one will ignore your situation.

Fighter Control also supports Spotter Watch.

Iskra750 is the Spottor Watch Co-ordinator at RAF Coningsby, and at the moment the scheme is taking off and being approved at other bases.

He is moderator of the Spotter Watch topic that I have created on the forum, and he will provide details of how to join.

Each member is issued with a membership card with various contact numbers on them.

It would be ideal if all Spotter Watch members could add that they are a Spotter Watch member in their profile & signature.
