Yes. I would advise that you to go to the Tank Bank. Copy and paste the following coords into Google Earth 52°5'21.47"N 0°7'21.46"E This is the raised bank in front of the Land Warfare Hall. Unfortunately you are shooting into the southern sky at Duxford and light can be tricky. This location is the closest that the displaying aircraft come to the crowdline. Some superb passes and bank from the warbirds. From the raised vantage point good taxi shots can be taken too. If the weather is predicted to be good then get there early to bag your spot. Reserve your spot with a folding chair. Some people do use step stools on the Tank Bank to give them that added vantage point. TJ

M11 end, down by ARCo is good for top sides and I use a 300mm lens.

Both ends are good, the light can be a problem till late in the day though. Here are a few examples from the Tank Bank. All taken with a 100-400mm L Series, so 300mm will be fine.
