ZE941/KT (09:35) towed to east side HAS area then back to Tornado hanger at (14:04)

Not a very busy day, was looking forward to catching the French.

Thanks for the log James. I heard earlier a movement was taking place and you gave me KT.
I see it's back in its place in no.3 hanger. I am still trying to get the ID of the one next to it.

Im afraid i couldnt get the serial of the other F3 that was sticking out of the hanger, but i dont know why they towed ZE941 across to the other side then back into the hanger again, strange ....

You most certainly can use my log, i dont mind at all.

Will have to look out for you next time at Leeming!

Hi, I was the guy in the mini. Good to meet you but wish it was under better circumstances! I managed to get shots of one Hawk all day. Did discover the approach at the village end in the afternoon when they changed ends. Great for pix in the late afternoon as and when stuff actually flies there!

Hi Jamie,

Nice meeting you, just a shame there wasnt much activity, Thought 100sqn would have been up abit more than only 2-3 hawks.

How busy is Leeming these days,flying wise,from where i live at Finningley,i used to hear aircraft in the overhead on my scanner,and if within range,on approach,haven't heard anything for ages on scanner..have they done anything communication wise with VHF/UHF.

its pretty much dead mate. only based hawks use it,but you do get the odd visitor and the odd detatchment.

I will secound that, 100Sqn hawks do go up quite often and maybe the odd lynx doing a fly through or a chinook for a gas and go.
