Nice to see a section dedicated to RAF Aldergrove in the new forums. The 230 squadron up at Aldergrove is due to relocate to Benson next year but still nice to have somewhere here to post movements and any unusual callsigns. Apparently we had 4 merlins in the province last week. Quite unusual for over here.
Regards ringo

Ringo. I am trying to be as diverse as possible. There are a few more bases to add yet.

Do the new Defenders fly much from there, or is just usually the Islanders you see?

I'm surprised the Defenders haven't been more visible, seeing as they have been based there since August.

Hi I have to agree with Ringo 747 it is great to see Aldergrove added to this site. I look forward to getting up there and hopefully adding some shots of interest from NI. John

The Defenders have been out - but not too often.Caught these (ZG998 and ZH001) in the circuit at EGAB back in Sept and Oct.
