Help With Nikon D50 Problem

Hello All,
I had a slight problem with my D50 today and it is a little cause for concern, after taking a number of pictures none of them showed up on the review screen / monitor (Rear Of Camera), the issue seemed to resolve itself but im slightly worried as its going to have quite a bit of use over the next few weeks. Any ideas folks? Cheers Alan

Did the pictures actually write to the camera? - Did they show up when you viewed them on a PC.

Did the camera know there were photos there? was it a case of the screen not working? Or were the photos no where to be seen?

What make of memory card are you useing , and as this card been formated in the camera. or pc.

a bit more information would help the Members hopefully help find a reason to your problems.

This happened to a friend of mine with his D80. Whilst we were in Wales doing lowflies! He wasnt a happy bunny. It would work sometimes and then not. He couldn't access his menu either when it was playing up. Have you tried that? If it is the same, then its back to Nikon I'm afraid. It took about 3 weeks to sort and £160.
I hope you get it sorted in time.

Hi Chaps - My apologies i should have been a little morespecific, when the card is put into the PC the picture is just black as on the preview screen, this does not happen all the time which is why its a mystery, the card is a sandisk 2gb sd.
