Hi guys, just a quick one!
Im hopefully (weather permitting) off to Cby on tues for teh Display auth. I was wondering where would be the best place to get turning and burning shots of the Typhoon and possibly topside of the BBMF, Crash gate 4 or entrance to 11sqd HAS?

I would say just before crash gate 4 .Near the barn on the right or the mound.

'Typhoon Display Practice 2009
Beginning on Monday 16 March 2009, the Typhoon Display aircraft will be practicing for the forthcoming display season. Typhoon flying practice may take place over the airfield on weekdays, (Monday to Friday) within the following time slots: 0800 - 0830hrs and 1300 - 1330hrs. These times have been chosen to minimize noise disturbance to the local schools during lesson and exam times.
Daily display flying practice will then be reduced from approximately the beginning of May 2009 when the Pilot will have completed his work up phase.'

Tuesday 28th April 0920-1130 Local time (Display Authorisation day)
Wednedsay 29th April 0930-1200 Local time (Weather back up day)

'Typhoon - Monday 27th April Practice AM + PM normal slots 8 am and 13.00 subject to weather conditions.

Now scheduled for the following.
Wednesday 29th April 1350-1545 local time.
These new later times will be great for photo opportunities on the south side of the airfield.
Forecast for Wednesday is predicting clear skies and sunshine!
