Cheers for the info this will be one of the usual french flights into waddington at the start of the week to drop crews off to use the AWACS simulator. Its usually either a french E-3F or a Xingu. Not sure which aircraft it was today maybe someone on here can help out. I do know that it must have departed early afternoon as nothing was parked up down the harmston end by 4pm.

Andy :)

"FAF 9090 Xingu"

Only stay for a couple of hours using the E3 simulator before departing back to France.

James,
Not quite. They usually drop off a crew to use the sim, returning later in the week to collect them.

Wasnt sure if the Xingu stops for a couple of hours then taking the E3 crew home or picking them up later in the week.

Cheers Andy
