I was thinking about DK the other day and what might become of it. I haven't read of any plans to bring it home and/or repair it. Anyone know anything..?

WFU = Withdrawn From Use

I'm assuming it returned to Brize in bits onboard a C-17 but to date I've not been able to confirm how she got home.

The wings were at Brize and the body has been seen at Coningsby but I believe that it's now at St Athans.

The wings were not in the their usual place at Brize last weekend, so possible they were moved

Here she (reportedly) is returning to RAF Coningsby in late January 2009.

Currently in a HAS and I don`t think she`ll ever fly again.

Are you assuming it's in a HAS or do you know for sure?
