For a friend who is travelling, is Mildenhall open good friday through to easter monday.

Well, I didnt reply because I dont know! In lieu of other inputs, I would guess that the base would probably be flying more or less at normal (I think it was even open over Chistmas, but with only non-based movements happening?). There will probably be some movements, but maybe not as many as normal (not that there is a "normal" amount with Mildenhall). If im wrong, someone please correct me because this is just a guess.

It's always open as normal over Easter,as far as I know.
The C-17's and C-5's will fly as normal,but not so sure about the KC's, as there won't be any "trade" for them.

Judging from the previous pictures that have been posted from BH Monday movements, the Hall has been busy on the Mondays.

Only thing that can spoil it is the traditional BH Monday rain storms.

I can't remember which day of the holiday it was, but I was there one day over Easter last year and the only thing about was a RAF C-130 in and out on para drop training. Which would not have been my first guess as to what I was likely to see!

You just got to look at what visitors come in over the weekend and take a chance that they may go Sunday or the Monday.Oh and the weather as well.
