Forumotion have added a few extras to our forum today. 1 of these is the multi quote function. To operate this you simply read through the posts, click on the multi quote button of each post you want to comment on and then click post reply. This will then allow you to end in your replies in between each block of quoted text. Pretty Neat eh.

A reputation system which is in the form of the + and - Which as soon as I find the code they have changed, I will be removing it. The Memberlist now shows avatars and a few extras, which as soon as I find the code I will be removing the number of posts. Oh yes and I have noticed that they have changed the mini profile on the left handside of each post. As soon as I find the code for that, I will change as they have still messed it up. Many of the forums hosted on Forumotion do not use this template so the developers of foumotion have only catered for the 4 popular ones. Because we are one of the few forums where members post images.

And also there is a thanks button as well. So for example. If you post a new topic for example, can I have the serial of the etc etc etc and then someone posts a reply with the serial. You can then thank them via the thanks button. Because the thanks button will only appear for you.

I used to be a COBOL programmer, so I am used to trawling through 1000's of lines of code. It helps if they self documented each section of code correctly.

Certainly agree with taking off the reputation thingy, does not seem beneficial at all. Some people could feel really down if people grade all their posts as worthless or something.
