A short detour from Junction 7 of the M5 on 8th April found the small private collection of aircraft on a farm in Birlingham. Noted in a rather sorry state were the following :-
Sea Hawk FB5, wearing an overall red colour scheme and serial WN105 (really WF299) Meteor T7 WH166 grey colour scheme Hunter F6 XF526 red and white colour scheme Jet Provost T3 XN623 (really XN632) red/white/blue colour scheme Vampire T11 WZ425 (serial not carried) silver Vampire T11 XE979 (serial only visable under the wing) silver - very badly damaged/burnt pod
For those who can not gain access to the site (please dont trespass on the site it is a private working farm) the aircraft can be seen if approaching from Pershore. The owner, Mr Revill, and his family were very freindly during my visit and access and photography was not a problem, but please dont attemp to access the site if the gate is closed.
