Noted on 23rd Feb 2009 at what is now the Fire Service training school from the Perimeter where the following:
Jet Provost - XM404 - * - Several attempts were made to read this off as the light was fading. Royal Navy Wessex - ** - Badly burned Royal Navy Hunter - WT804 / 831 - ***
The following information is taken from demobbed www.demobbed.org.uk
* Jet Provost is a T3 and was 8055BM ** RN Hunter is a GA11 and is DD-831 *** RN Wessex is a HAS3 and from the picture on the site has a tail code of LS and another code of A assumed it was originally on the nose.
Demobbed also confirms that there is a JP T4 fuselage and also a partial fuselage of an Andover C1.
These were not viewable from the outside of the perimeter.
Also noted is that the Wessex is in worse condition and seems to be placed in a different location to that of the picture on the Demobbed Website.
Also XM404 is also located in a different position with no evidence of undercarriage and in a worse condition than that of the picture taken on the Demobbed website.
The Hunter is in the same location.

Hi Streethawk, I was lucky enough to be at the college for a weeks training in October last year. The Andover is in the centre of the airfield and has its own small pan to sit on. The T4 you talk about is deep in the woods to the North East of the field. I went past it on the taxiway in a fire engine and could only just see it. It is in a poor state and has no wings or rear stabiliser. For reference also, to the south east side of the field where the 'rail incidents' take place, there is some sort of civvie, a cessna or the like. HTH Phill
