Went to Lincoln today to have my bike worked on at Banditmania behind the railway station.
Instead of getting bored looking around Lincoln (My favourite shops that sold old 1960's 1970's Boxed Matchbox diecasts are no longer trading.)
I decided to spend the day at Waddo. Left the workshop and walked to the bus station to catch the bus to Bracebridge Heath. Missed one bus and I certainly wasn't going to wait 30 minutes for the next bus. :affraid: :affraid: :affraid: So I decided to get a Taxi.
Arriving at WAVE and being £8.40 lighter I met up with Terry Senior, thanks Terry.
Purchased a fantastic Cup of tea 75p and a piping hot Bacon Sausage and Egg Cob £2.60
Then it was down to business.
Noted from the Wave.
Read off from the nearest to the road

16:30 the clouds were getting dark and low over Waddo village and another £8.40 to Lincoln
* The tail number 5 is dark in colour looks like it has either peeled off or is dirty.
** ZJ693 was parked up by the AWACS and was towed down to the Warfare Centre and was wearing it's engine covers
I had a good look through the Scope at XR770/AA. I hope that work is able to start on this, because it would look wonderful in re-freshed colours.
If anybody is able to tie up the 3 Grob Tutors I would be greatful.
Nice to see you again John.

ZH105 was repainted last year i do believe and the serial on the tail and the 'Royal Air Force' titles were applied in a tactical grey rather than the usual white. Hope this helps. Dinger.
