Over the last 12 -18 months the amounts of Chinooks over Nottingham has increased but I normanlly see them in pairs.

I got all excited then, I thought someone had replied with a tie-up... Yes I agree with the activity and that they are usually in pairs. I live close to the embankment and in the past I have seen them come out of Chilwell (When I worked there it was excellent). And follow the Trent to Newark. The last pair I saw they came over my parents house and landed on the embankment. By the time I sorted out a camera, lens, tipped the bags upside down to find a CF card and a charged battery and sprinted down the cycle track they lifted and headed out. Showing me their backsides.

Hi Street Hawk, The chinook might have been ZH777 which was apparently in the Waddo area earlier. Just a guess! Andy :)

I work in Colwick and see them as they pass. Thats about it other than the odd Spitfire, Lancs and even a Sentry once.
