A quiet one, this week. Hawk T.Mk2 ZK015 arrived on Friday 27th for Price Charles to try on Monday 2nd. and it left shortly afterwards. The Prince arrived in a civil-reg'd helicopter. Tuesday 3rd XX255/CL 100 squ Hawk and late on, XS728 Dominie T.1 Thursday 5th CS-DMH Netjets Beech-400

March 2nd saw HRH arrive aboard G-XXEA and three Navy Hawks over at VAS XX 303, 159 & 168

12th March CE 03 Embraer 145LR came in to pick up crew from Sea King Simulator ZD 264 [407] hot refuel. ZF 123 [WW] Sea King HC.4 848 NAS and three Puma's VORTEX 328, 321 & 339 five mins apart, lifted together and departed East

Also in this week on Tuesday (10th) were 100 squ Hawk XX203/CE and Netjets Be-400 CS-DXO. There was also another SeaKing HC4 (coded P from memory) ?

Today 18th saw ZJ 272 Squirrel on local sorties in the harbour, CWL 08 ZF 210 Tucano into VAS. 'TESTER 72' was XX 342 which carried out several circuits in the bright sun.

Other visitors this week include Monday 16th..a new Merlin Tuesday 17th ZF210 Tucano, also 18th and of course, the Reds today ! PS missed you twice this week, Dick - passing by on a mission !

as they landed 0835hrs Red 10 & 8 XX 294 & 233 0940hrs RED 1 to 3 XX 266, 237 & 227 0945hrs RED 4 & 5 XX 308, 264 0950hrs RED 6, 7 & 9 XX 253, 179 & 242
But they displayed as Red 1 to 9 XX 266, 237, 233, 308, 264, 253, 179, 294 & 242

the Merlin on 16th was indeed ZK 001 to and from Benson

A GR4 came in on a state 2 this aft, caught the rag as he came in. Didnt get the serial as was too busy!

I belive the mountain traning area would be the Snowdon area and North Wales LFA/MTA I believe the GR4 that took the rag was "Voodoo" which had a hydraulic problem. Hope that helps Cheers

Here's my efforts for the week:- Monday 23rd. Z**** /093 GR4 (until pm Wednesday 25th) as noted elsewhere Tuesday 24th. XZ233/694 and XZ727/695 Lynx Wednesday 25th. XZ727/695, XZ636/404, XZ248/308 Lynx. Sea King HAR.2 ZE370/T was also parked on the SAR Apron for a couple of days (new arrival ?) Thursday 26th CM-01 (I think, only caught a glimpse of it) Falcon 20. Going back to the previous week, Sea King HAR.2 XZ589 was noted here on the 16th (a new resident ?) As usual, any corrections & additions are most welcome

To finish off March:- Tornado 093 departed on Monday 30th Tuesday 31st saw ZF341 Tucano and 100squ Hawks XX346/CH and XX332/CD (the latter stayed until the 2nd april) And the 2 "new" SeaKings do appear to be based.
