Well the beast arrived today, I received yesterday an email to say that the item was in stock and was being dispatch with a dispatch code. I followed the complete progress of the delivery. From Pickup to delivery took just over 18 hours using City Link. And it is a beast. Similiar in length to my sigma 50-500. This scope although pricey, but the cheapest price from a UK supplier at £235 with free P+P. I stood on the corner of the road and aimed at Nottingham Castle. I can make out the full detail of the viewing telescope on the castle wall. This is one awesome scope.

| The Yukon 100X is a revolutionary new spotting scope with unique optical characteristics - it has two optical channels. This is the first spotting scope on the market using this system and that will deliver magnifications from 6x to 100x without the need to change eyepieces. The excellent light gathering capabilities of the 100mm multicoated objective lens makes the picture clear and bright in most viewing conditions. The unit's body shell is rugged, weather resistant and, considering it's magnification range, is relatively compact and lightweight. The angled, rotating eyepiece allows use when you are unable to align your viewing position with the scope, such as when lying in a prone shooting position. A lens hood is supplied to reduce flare and to protect the front element from rain.
A sturdy tripod is essential for maximum performance
- Magnification with linear zooming from 6X to 100X
- Dual multicoated objective lenses - 35 mm and 100 mm
- Generous eye relief

Looks a nice bit of kit. can you buy those camera mount attachments for this . seen some impressive shots taken with that sort of set up, down at my local wildlife spotting hut by some of the local twitchers.

Yes you can, and also the company I got this from is still the cheapest for this add-on bit of kit. I scoured Ebay, E-bid, and various other UK and International sellers, as I was going to get a Bushnell scope. www.sherwoods-photo.com

Took this shot with a mobile phone camera, not the best way to focus down the eyepiece and only a few mega pixel camera phone used , but by just pointing my camera phone down the eyepiece of the Aldi scope last year. hand held .

Must add that the image above does not reflect the quality of the Aldi scope its sharp and bright ,
trying to focus a camera phone and get the proper distance from lens to eyepiece on a camera phone hand held and some silly shutter speed in the dark of night is not easy,
You can imagine what can be done with a proper adapter from scope to a good Digi camera. set up nice on a tripod .
