Just thought I'd suggest a few titles...

The best WWI flying book ever in my opinion: Sagittarius Rising by Cecil Lewis... absolutely stunning and an all time classic. Find the description of a party when you think you will be dead tomorrow!

A mixture of civil and military flying, but don't let that put you off Fate Is the Hunter by Ernest K. Gann. An fabulous set of stories from the early days of airline flying to transporting WWII bombers across the pond to the UK.

First Man by James Hansen is the story of the life of Niel Armstrong... a stunning look at his career as a military pilot, test pilot, oh and of course going to the moon!!! Another fav of mine.

Well, there are 3 for starters... got some work to do now, more later!
