Have tried putting a photo in the signature-box,it is there when I hit the preview button but when I hit "save" it doesn't come up on my posts.
What's the "old signature" button all about ?

Your new signature will only appear on posts made after you added it. I assume the picture you where trying to add, is the one thats showing in your posts?.
