Subject: AE0324 mis-code on SBS 2009-02-27, 11:46 |

Hi all, im sure many of you are aware that code AE0324 (a 317 AG C.130H) has been active lately using QID c/s. Obviously a mis-code on a based KC135R. It flew OTT Huntingdon today using c/s QID 53, and I noted that it was fitted with the hoses on the wings. The only "missing" KC135R from 100 ARW in the last few weeks are: 63-7987 AE026E l/n 11-01-09 c/s QID 55 60-0355 AE0264 l/n 11-02-09 c/s QID 74 (to Europe) 60-0328 AE0686 l/n 12-02-09 c/s QID 80 (to Europe?) 60-0350 AE059C l/n 12-02-09 c/s QID 81 (to Europe?) 62-3565 AE066D l/n 12-02-09 c/s QID 82 (to Europe?) 62-3519 AE07B6 l/n 17-02-09 c/s QID 85 from pictures, only 60-0355 is fitted with the pods so my money is on this as the mis-coded a/c comments! Ray, 63-8008 is also fitted out with the pods. I managed to photograph it in the circuit at Waddington through the week. Dinger.

Dinger. Ah yes I realise others in the 100 ARW fleet are fitted (anyone got a full list?) but 63-8008 has been active with its proper code of AE048A. Todays a/c was seen by myself & Das, and heard on scanner with c/s QID 53, but SBS had it as AE0324, ie: the mis-code! Ray

Out of interest, does anyone have the full list of aircraft on strength for the 100ARW? There are 10 or so Im regularly hearing on sorties, but no more than that. Cheers Ben

00355 is definitely the sbs miss-code. Current equipment of 100ARW is;
KC-135R: 58-0036, 58-0093, 58-0100, 60-0328, 60-0331, 60-0350, 60-0355, 61-0306,
62-3519, 62-3565, 63-8008, 63-8025, 63-8033, 63-8879, KC-135T: 58-0086.
Cheers Stig.

As it was replaced by 10306 from McConnell, I would assume so. They don't generally re-work 100th KCs and then return them. 80001 was back with Fairchild markings on Thursday and I belive Trout 99 which visited recently is ex 100th as well. Cheers, Stig.
