Im thinking of coming down to Cby tommorow from Manchester,can anybody tell me has there been much flying?
Are any of 41 sqn up and about?

GR.4s are in the U.S. The Harriers are still about, but might be down due to the recent Harrier crash in Cyprus.

I had a feeling that the GR4s had gone abroad.
Not been out and about since before xmas,was going to go to Valley but they are closed tommorow so Coningsby it is!

Im sure i will so long as there are a few flying!!
Its a good place to visit because there are quite a few places to view from.
If i get any half decent pictures i will post them.
It will be good to get out of civvie city Manchester!!

lol yeah its only somthing like 60 odd miles for me to travel up there but at the moment i dont drive so my wife is taking me on the 16th

I dont fancy driving 140 miles for very little!

Hi Mark,
The forecast won't stop them flying. Just that it is predicted to be one of those sunless overcast cold days. Miserable for photography.

I like to use the following

From

They have a small graphic where you can run 'cloud cover' etc

i live near the base and normally thursdays are quite busy, recently 29, 17, 3 and 11 have been flying, havent seen any harriers for abt 2 weeks not sure whether they are away as well as the GR4S can anyone confirm?

Harrier, ZG501 was in the wash bay on Tuesday.

I have decided after seeing the weather and the threat of snow later this afternoon to leave C`by till nxt month,hopefully when the weather is a bit more co-operative!
