 Hi,
Wondered if anyone can help me. I was in Sutton Coldfield (North Birmingham) at around 16:30 on Wednesday 5th Feb, when this chap flew over, fairly low (could even have been on approach to Birmingham international). Sorry about the poor quality -only had a mobile on me, but what is is it, and where was it going?

Jimmernet.
If he came over Sutton Park towards the Town Centre then it would be on final approach to BHX and the undercarriage would be down.
If you took this at the BHS end of the Town Centre looking towards the Argos end of the Town Centre then this would have took off.

Can confirm with my Mark 1 Eyeball, that shape hurtling across the heavens is indeed a C-17.
