Stored aircraft at BAe Woodford

Subject: Stored aircraft at BAe Woodford 2008-12-29, 03:56

I'm wanting to photograph the stored Merpati ATPs at Woodford, I know
that there are paths from Old Hall Lane and Bridle Road, but do these
lead to a location where it's accessible to photograph the stored
aircraft? Would it be easier to go through Adlington Golf Course? Is it possible to photograph the Vulcan from here too?

Hi Martin your best chance of photographing the vulcan is from church lane,which brings you to golf course if you follow this lane half way down the nearest green you can see the stored ATP's.I had heard that they had started cutting up these aircraft,last time i was there 3 nimrod airframes were parked outside the old flight ops building hope this is of some help to you. 8) :D

I was at woodford in december all the atps had gone.
