Hi, Quiet start today, the two french Alpha jets were down the harmston end parked up at 10:40 although I believe these have now departed. Also what looked like an AAC Lynx came in a short while ago. Andy :)

Two King Airs have just gone OTT high up in formation. Also a Tutor has just gone down the approach.

Heard something ridiculously loud over Waddo at about 15:45. Unfortunately couldn't see it, any ideas what this was?

It would be the first of the three 3 Sqn Typhoons which diverted to Waddo whilst Coningsbys runway was black. I missed the first departing, however I was informed that it was Q-OL. The second to depart was ZJ917 QO-G at around 1605 and the last to depart at around 1615 was ZJ937 QO-W. Hope this helps, Dinger.
