Following the scrubbed mission tonight to AR two B1Bs in the Atlantic the bombers are either continuing on to Mildenhall for an overnight stop or will turn around. they are currently on the other side of the atlantic (Gander Oceanic) so it could go either way, If they are going to carry on, then expect two on the deck around 01:30am.
Ill update if i know anything more. See the OTT thread for details on the mission tonight. http://fightercontrol.forumotion.com/overhead-ott-f5/quid-90-t2860-30.htm#14590 to keep updated on whether they divert or not.

If they came across the Atlantic and were suppossed to be refuelled where do you think they are heading considering there is about 6 out in the Middle East flying missions over Iraq and Afghanistan? Cheers Eccie

they were headed for the deployed base in the middle east. Basically a maintenance swapover as 2 should head back to conus in a few days. As for those trying to work out when they will depart then first thing to consider is crew rest periods.

As for those trying to work out when they will depart then first thing to consider is crew rest periods. Do they have noise abatement at weekends at Mildenhall?
Hoping they might stick around til Monday...???

With thanks to Stig & RHWW text just in..86-0109/DY 86-0124/DY sp Mks. positive ID on 86-0109 but 0124 hard to read. Rain Hissing down and a cross wind at the Hall now, making ID hard..can be read from Beck Row side, and well Viz from John's field

The pods are mounted no a pylon on the left of the forward fuselage, so they wouldn't be visible from the west row side. Stig.
