KC-135T 58-0069 Macdill departed at 0900 and the day was made by the two C-5's arriving together. I might post my shots of them later or tomorrow.
Also, the USMC KC-130T might have a tech issue as the No.4 prop spinner was noted removed this afternoon.

The KC130 spinner was missing when it turned its' props yesterday afternoon, maybe the fault occured at that point.
The C130T was due to depart today, but although also turning its' props didn't show any further signs of activity.
But what a sight to see three C5s on the pan, it brings back memories of the golden years at the Hall.
Cheers, Stig.

Benn, the C130T might not be alone I noticed four extinguishers on Charlie to the left of "Turkish Stars", might be worth a look tomorrow!

Cheers, Stig.

As the spinner is still absent, it could be possible that something like the Pitch Lock Regulator has been replaced, therefore a ground run and leak checks of the dome would be required. Pure speculation from an ex C-130K sooty, but you never know.

Thanks Dinger, it's nice to have an poinion from somebody who has worked on the aircraft.
The prop which was lacking the spinner was still at 90 deg. + x xx so the a/c looked like my diagram.
I wonder if the problem was discovered as they yried to turn the prop.

If there is a problem, it was most likely noticed whilst the engine was running. The other possibility is that a hydraulic leak was discovered after shut down which could lead to component change or at worst a prop change.

Glad to be of help.

Dinger.
