Please note that any member of FC may use this section to post reviews of recently published books they believe may be of interest to others. The only 'rule' is that reviews be objective, even if you might legimately not recommend a book - though your reasons why should be stated! To enable others to order books through their local bookshop or wherever it would be useful if the following information could be included at the start of any review;
Title (in full)
author/s
publisher and year of publication (if not published in UK please specify country)
number of pages, with an indication of illustrations/photos (i.e. colour, B&W, plans, maps, etc, etc)
price
ISBN number
The above details can usually be found on the verso of the title page.
It's OK if you want to review old and possibly out-of-print books (might generate interesting debates on the Forum!), though if you know where it might be possible to purchase please include that information too (such as a second hand bookshop, etc).
