Hi all,

How busy is Coningsby generally on a Thursday? I've got the day off and am going to be heading up there with a mate so I'm just looking for a rough idea.

Cheers in advance,

i was sat at crash gate 1 watching it being towed down the runway, there seemed hope for some flying this afternoon 11sqdn and 29sqdn seemed to be getting ready but once the f16 landed everything seemed to stop. did the runway go black? they seemed to be working on the end of 07 for a long while, anyone any ideas?

If, as reported, the F-16 came in with suspected hydrazine (a mono fuel used in the engine starting system and highly toxic) leaks than the runway could possibly have gone black until it was determined if any of the nasty stuff had or had not leaked.
