Hello Andy, wasn't the APU, but the EPU was fired, most likely a main generator failure, in that case the EPU [Emergency Power Unit] comes on line to supply the power needed. An F-16 can fly app. 20 minutes extra with the EPU. Very dangerous for the groundcrew with the Hydrazine used in the system.
Just had NASTY21 here at Leeuwarden coming in with the EPU fired, LOL.

Generator failure was the fault, heard this passed by Magic to Blackdog (E-3 to Scampton CRC for those unsure of Magic or Blackdog!)

F16 still sat on the pan as of 12.30 today
GR9 XZ437 (49) On Wash Pan
A109 ZR321 On main pan
Both 41 Sqn Tonks are active with one just gone out and back with the last 15 Minutes!
Tiifys are fairly active but the weather is pants!!
Tiffy AO-Z, BK have both just gone vertical on take off!! with a further one lining up now
Better do some work

The Italian F-16 has been moved from where it was parked yesterday. There was no sign of it this morning at 1100. I assume it has been hangared. Dinger.
