Got there this morning just in time to hear the 3 x KC10's being told their mission was scrubbed for 24 hours, so expect them to go tomorrow. They were told to pass the message on to the '135's' as well...
The callsigns they used on 'Banter' were Cafe 21, Gold 72 and Gold 62
E3 I was told went tech last night whilst turning it around for its ETD today. :x
Also got told a C-5 was on a 24 hour delay that should of arrived at midday. :x
Only other moves of note in the morning were:
Jalop 55 departing to Ramstein RCH326 - KC-135 Both departed into the clag, cudnt get any regs, and didnt see the Jalop at all! - sorry!
Quid 76 scrubbed in the morning coz the Eagles couldnt launch because of the pants weather, but he did launch at around 1400.
Managed to bag 12 Eagles returning that launched just after lunch from Lakenheath, one with an IFE.
'AK' C-17 sat at Lakenheath as well, with rumours of a second one due after dark from one of the locals.
Was a poor day, weather wise and trade wise, and a long hike from Blackpool for 4 moves....it promised so much and delivered naff all!
Hey ho - you win some ya lose some! :geek:
