The following of interest was seen today whilst on base.
The remaining 11 Tucanos sold to RS Warbirds LLP of Arizona were located as follows...
HANGER 14 ZF207 DISMANTLED,FUSELAGE ON TROLLEY,WINGS NEAR BY ZF208 ZF238 ZF241 ZF346
HANGER 13 ZF138 ZF375 ZF413
HANGER 17 ZF206 ZF266 ZF320
HANGER 3 New Squirrel ZK199 was under rebuild, fully painted up with serial applied. ZK200 was wearing its civilian reg G-CEYO and looks complete and ready to fly. One difference noted from the rest of the fleet is that it has an integrated landing light in the nose.ZK200 was visible under the civil reg.
Also of note in this hanger was the tail boom of Bell212 ZJ966/C.

The S King did'nt operate from Shawbury on 21st. The Tucs will not be flying to the USA, well not under their own power ! The 2 new Squ's are a long way from being ready to fly for DHFS, various probs have been encountered so it may be a while before they take to the skies again !! :farao:

Hi Dubmaster, ZJ966 is one of the Belize ones isnt it ? Does that mean the rest of the airframe is somewhere on base under rework like the Cyprus ones have just undergone ? I have not seen any reports of it arriving at Shawbury prior to your report. Very interesting. PhilD

ZJ966 is not at Shawbury, may be a spare boom painted and ready to be shipped out. :farao: EDIT:DUBMASTER Yep Boom had obviously arrived for rework as its crate was near by.There was a primer boom for a Griffin or Bell212 near by so this could have been going in the opposite direction.
