Ark Royal won't be in Liverpool until 14th January. Haven't had the Task brief as yet so not sure if we have an air group embarked but will keep you posted. I will be on board from 11th.

Ive heard from other web sites that she wont dock till 15th jan and wiil leave on 10th Jan 2009? anyone else know?

For anyone interested I heard on Liverpool radio on Sat morning, that ARK ROYAL will be arriving on Thurs 15th Jan at 12pm and open to pubic on Fri and sat 10am till 3pm. she is departing monday.

Not open to visitors on Sunday I'm afraid John. She does have an 814 Sqn Merlin embarked and an 849 Sqn Sea King. Serials if anyone needs them

Saw the ship on Friday evening after dark; Merlin on the stern and Sea King on the pointy end - did anybody manage numbers? G/f saw a fighter type flying down the Mersey from her flat in chinatown - she id'd it as a Harrier from pics, did one land on while docked?
