Well at last I've finished my Revell 1:144 Harrier GR7, it's been a bit of a nightmare. I've never done this scale model before & the fiddlyness drove me mad! Anyway completed today (unless i risk snapping more bits off when weathering it)
Next up is the airfix chinook (I'll paint it in NATO olive drab or whatever its called instead of the HC1 scheme.

Hi here's my latest 1/72 offering. It's an Academy SB2C-4 Helldiver straight out-of-the-box. Kit comes with Scalemaster decals and Eduard etched dive brake/flaps. Hope you like
cheers Rick

Ive just stumbled accross this section and have to say there are some outstanding models on here! I do like that helldiver, it looks a lot bigger than 1/72. So here they are, a very dirty Daphne and Scooby! 1/32 Op Telic GR 4 A ZG 714 Truffle Snufflers
This was completed as part of a group build over on Britmodeller
Thought Id have a go at something different using the wonderful Euro decal sheet which gives all of the nose art used during op Telic.
She is depictes as being extremely well used with the ARTF finish being washed away in places.

Another one from me that I completed earlier this year. Having said that there are still a few touchups and improvements to make. I also want to make some RBF tags and angine and exhaust covers for it, and turn it into a Diorama for our cadet Wing competition. What do you think? (any tips for improving it gratefully recieved!!)
Ben

my first model since a mere lad... decided to go 1/48 and all out for some detail..however airfix decals were disasterous, disintegrating as soon as they hit the water. lost faith so still needs some finishing.
thanks for looking

Here's XX184 from last year. Can't remember when I started it but I've been doing it on and off since probably last September. Its only the second kit I've airbrushed so I'm still getting the hang of it.

That's a most impressive collection , well finished - I've had a small collection for a number of years now - unfortunately they are all still in the boxes unmade - one of these days!

That Harrier is very smart! Much much better than my first airbrushed model! Only thing I would say would be to sand 1mm off the bottom of the stabiliser wheels so the main gear sits on the ground. I've just got myself a 1/48 AC-130U kit, so I'll post photos of that when it is done (probably next year! ) Ben
