Hi There,
May take on the proceedings from Saturday's Airshow at Southport, this is my first attempt at aviation photography, hopefully when I do get more experience I going to upgrade my camera.
Taken using a Fuji Finepix S1500. (some pretty heavy crops)
Any comments and suggestions are welcome....!!

You're taking some good pics there, but you will never get the clarity of detail or crispness that you would get with a proper dslr.To be fair, you are asking something of the fuji it was never meant to do.I too, started with a camera like yours, and they are great for getting you into it and learning the basics of composition and shutter speeds, but to be honest,i think the camera is holding you back now.so to improve you would need a proper dslr,i went to a canon 350D a good camera at sensible price.someone had a 400D going in the for sale section even better.i have a 40D now which is a lovely piece of kit.dont get caught in the ebay trap,9/10ths of stuff on there is crap.great western cameras of swindon is the only place i buy my kit from,he does the lowest prices and lets you pay bit by bit if its expensive.Anyway nice pics and looking forward to see how you improve with a better camera!!!
