Grass Strips all white?

Noticed when i turned on my FS2004 yesterday (first time in ages) that most of my grass strips (without runway markings) are all white with no textures.
I tested it again this morning with Netheravon, which turns up fine, as does Upavon.... but my own Deptford runway and other airstrips in all countries are white... (looks like someone has just placed a pure white oblong over them.
This is the same for my own addon scenery with invisible runways showing up as white strips...

Does anyone know what the problem is here? I haven't turned FS2004 for ages and haven't changed anything obviously since my last time on it.
