A very rare sight indeed! Keeping an eye out for XH558 (which steadfastly managed to avoid the area) we were treated to a commendably low transit by the Reds on their way home. Right over the roof - first time anything military (apart from a random Lynx) has ventured over Sheffield at such close quarters in a very long time. Well pleased!

tell me about it. i was waiting for the vulcan. got it on my scanner, my dad phoned who lives about 14 miles from me to say it had just gone over his house VERY low and was heading my way. had me camera ready and everything. well it must have teleported over us because next message on the scanner was that he was over congleton and heading for woodford.
