Yupi 7100 problem

Hi After giving up on my yupi 7000 I have just bought a mint yupi 7100. Only trouble is the hissing in the background is very bad, tried adjusting the squelch etc but its picking up stations at Edinburgh but the interference is terribly annoying. Even tried it at the airport, no better. Tried two different aerials as well. Any ideas why???. I always got very good quality from where I am with 7000 and especially with my brothers 7100 last week, hence the reason I went for one. best regards Graeme

I had this type of fault on mine and had to take it in for repair..I believe the fault was a dry joint (I'm not technically minded, but remember that's what they said)
